Who we are…
My name is Gerard Rada Nedich and I live in London, UK.
PlayFairNow.org was started on Saturday, 10th of October 2009, when I was discussing with Nick my shock at how difficult it was to find out exactly how much money we would get per download on iTunes as some distributers won’t mention anywhere on their website how big a slice the iTunes store takes and some will only tell you after you have purchased their service which makes it near impossible to make an informed decision!
That same weekend I read an article on Spotify and a letter written by Spotify CEO in The Times Online which shocked me…
Wow, the Spotify CEO bragging about the millions of Euros they are making every month and demanding that we, the creators of the works he is exploiting, not dare ask to be paid for our work so that he can make more millions?
That is it… I’ve had just about enough…
Nick also got fed up of hearing me complain so i decided to do something about it.
I really wish I didn’t have to spend so much time on this crap as I’d rather be playing guitar or spending time with my kids… but something has to be done about this stuff…
Anyway, I just wanted to get some info online right now so you know who is behind PlayFairNow.org as I am a single father of twins and play in several bands I am always running short on time…
A proper About page will be here soon…
