Thank you for the music, suckers! How Spotify's Daniel Ek stooped even lower to take your money...

More lies from Daniel EkMore lies from Daniel EkThe good news is our campaign against the dishonest treatment of artists by Spotify is making a difference.

Daniel Ek has replaced his original lie that Spotify was an ethical alternative to illegal filesharing because artists got paid - they didn’t - with refreshing honesty on how he wants to screw artists that make him millions by demanding he shouldn’t have to pay artists to make millions off their work… Which lets face it, only appealed to thieving weasels like Daniel Ek…

with a return to more lies…

Very interesting Lie...Very interesting Lie…

Daniel Ek knows that there is a standard streaming royalty rate as set by collection agency PRS for Music – which collects on behalf of the music publishers – which is currently 0.085p per stream or a share of advertising revenue, whichever is the highest.

Daniel Ek has just decided he doesn’t want to pay it.

Daniel Ek, Thank you for devaluing music… Thank you for killing music… Thank you for shitting on the core values of humanity…

Thank you Daniel Ek and Spotify, without you thieving weasels wouldn’t have anything to aspire too.

I think it is hilarious that Spotify now says it is a “no-brainer” to pay artists. What did they think their plan to not pay artists at all was then?

And why are they still refusing to pay artists the standard streaming rate?

I think as Daniel Ek and Spotify crawl along in their grubby existence we are getting a better picture of what they are all about.

Please visit http://we7.com where you can stream music for free and know that artists will be paid the standard streaming rate. You can also make playlists, share tracks via facebook etc and even purchase your fave music.
